Screenpresso is a Windows utility that enables you to capture images and videos of your desktop activity. You can use this application to easily create video tutorials which show game walkthroughs or how a certain program works, take a screenshot of a Skype conversation, and so much more.
The program sits in your System Tray from where you can access its main menu, Settings panel, and check the available shortcut keys. You can take snapshots of your entire desktop or just a certain area from your screen, record video tutorials with highlighted mouse clicks, identify color codes, copy text from images to your clipboard, etc. An important aspect is that you don't need much computer experience in order to complete any of the aforementioned tasks. Also, the utility immediately completes any given task within moments.
Furthermore, the application is now capable of taking screenshots using auto-scroll. Until recently, you were supposed to scroll the contents of the window in question and the app would eventually overlap the resulting snapshots and create the still picture you need.
As soon as you take a snapshot, you will immediately get access to several editing options. You can attach text content to the screenshot, include geometrical shapes, etc.
My only issue with this program is the fact that it doesn't provide you with video editing options which might come in handy if you need to crop or trim the resulting recordings. more
